Below we have prepared a few questions and answer, as for many people it could be your first flight in an hot air balloon.
Is it cold in an air balloon?
Completely the opposite, because of the burner that warms the air, it is not cold. In the winter, it is recomended that you wear thick socks to keep your feet warm.
What sort of clothing should I wear?
We recomend you to wear the appropriate clothing for the season of the year, preferable sport clothing as well as comfortable footwear "no heels" and bring a baseball cap.
What time will we be flying?
We fly first thing in the morning while the wind still sleeps: in Summer at 7am and at 8.30am in the Winter. We fly at this time, to have the best atmospheric conditions.
Why do hot air balloons fly?
The type of air balloons that are used for passenger flights are hot air balloons. Hot air balloons fly because of the difference in temperatures, the burner warms the air inside the balloon, which makes it lighter and therefore lifts.
Can you steer a hot air balloon?
Air balloons travel in the same direction as the wind, depending on the height that we fly, we can travel in different directions. Which makes hot air balloons so attractive and appealing.
Which is the best time of year to fly?
Each season has it's own attraction, the beautiful colours of the auturm leaves, about to fall, or the fantastic colours of spring as the flowers come to life again.
How do we get back to our cars?
A vehicle will be following us to the landing field, after we have collected the balloon and basket, he will take us to the restaurant, where we will have breafast and you will receive your diploma, then we will be taken back to our starting point.
How long does the flight last?
Flights lasts approximately one to one and a half hours.
Can anyone fly?
There are no age limits for passengers, but they should be tall enough to be able to see over the basket to enjoy the views (125cm)
How much does it cost?
Adults :160€ Children: up to 12 years 110€.
Is it safe to fly in an air balloon?
Air balloon flights are the safest form of flying. All our air balloons are inspected by Civil Aviation and comply with all the necessary laws to be able to fly them.
What would happen, if due to bad weather we cannot fly?
If, on the day weather conditition were not suitable for flying, the pilot will postpone your flight until another day.
