¡Enjoy a Standard Flight!
What does it consist of?
We usually fly in the Girona area, The Costa Brava, Alt y Baix Empordà, El Girones y La Selva, all with views of the pyrenees. If you would like to fly in other areas of Catalonia, please contact us.
A flight in a hot air balloon is one of the most sort after adventures, to have a flight in which you experience great sensations, which are often magical and unexplainable.
We meet early morning, depending on the time of year, 07.30am Spring and Summer time and 08.30am in the Auturm and Winter time. The adventure starts with the preparations, approximatly 30 minutes. We unload the basket from the trailer and prepare the burners, with the basket laying on its side, we now open out the balloon cloth, and with the help of a ventilatior we fill the balloon with air. We then attach the basket to our back up car, with the help of the burners we soon have the air balloon fully inflated, and in a short time we have the magestic air balloon prepared to fly. While you are all getting comfortable in the basket, our pilot does the last minute instrument check and we are ready to fly in a hot air balloon.
About half way through our trip we baptize our flight with a glass of Champagne and a typical catalan cake; coca de llardons. The flight lasts approximately an hour to an hour and 30 minutes. Once our enjoyable journey has come to an end, we land very gently. Once on the ground, we release the hot air and the balloon gentle falls to the ground, we then leave the basket, collect the balloon and prepare all the equipment to be loaded onto our vehicle, we head for a well deserved typical catalan breakfast in a nearby restaurant whilst sharing comments of a incredible aventure and also the presentation of your diploma.
